My Requirements

I am looking for someone to come and play with and care for my daughter. She is disabled, she has a genetic condition which means her development is severely delayed. She cannot walk or talk, she has epilepsy and is fed through a gastrostomy tube. But she is generally very contented. Her development is probably like a 12-15-month old. She loves books and enjoys rhyming books such as The Gruffalo as well as touch & feel board books. She likes toys with easy-push big buttons that light up and play music. She really enjoys lights of all sorts and will spend ages watching the lights sparkling on the disco ball as it turns round. She likes swimming in our indoor pool, and going for walks around our village (although she’s a bit fussy about the weather and doesn’t like being cold!). She loves being outside on a warm day relaxing on the trampoline. She will engage in simple craft activities.
I am looking for someone to come and play with and care for her on alternate Saturdays and also every other Sunday for about 5 hours, with the option of extra time during school holidays. It's normally in the afternoons, but timing is often flexible depending on what we’re doing, and nanny/carer’s commitments. You will need to be able to drive yourself to our house as we live in a rural location with no public transport.
