My Experience
I have over 15 years of experience working with children in both professional and home-based settings. My experience spans from caring for babies and toddlers through to school-aged children and teenagers.
I began my journey working alongside families as a babysitter and childminder, supporting with daily routines such as school runs, homework supervision, meal preparation, bedtime, and creative play. Over the years, I’ve also supported children with additional needs, ensuring each child feels understood, included, and encouraged at their own pace.
Through my Level 3 Childcare and Health & Social Care training, I’ve gained a deep understanding of child development, safeguarding, and emotional wellbeing. My hands-on experience, paired with my professional training, allows me to balance warmth and structure creating a caring environment that promotes both safety and fun.

Umu is an excellent childminder. I have been using her service for about a year now. My son has bonded well with her and enjoys going to DDS childminder. She communicate effectively with me regarding my son and keeps me updated about his daily activities. My son loves her cooking and love exploring with other children at DDS childminder. She does various activities with all the children. And her service are reasonable priced and she is a very understanding childminder. Highly recommended childminder.

Do not use this person. She was meant to baby sit for us to go out for dinner for our wedding anniversary, it was all arranged, and now 20 mins after she was meant to arrive she has blocked me on childcare.co.uk.

You never confirmed with me about price . I told you my price and you never agreed no reply. I never blocked you . This is very hurtful as i offer flexibility to all the parent who use my services. I have always showed up to my babysitting jobs. Please take this off as this is not fear to my service. I will have a word with childcare. Co.uk as you never confirmed with me and agreed to my price you wanted me to baby for less than charges.
Umu is an excellent Childminder , the things that stand out immediately are her professionalism and the cleanliness of the area where the children are cared for. Umu has been looking after my 9 month old daughter and she has been flourishing , its added so much structure to her day and I noticed an improvement in her eating and sleeping pattern. She also been encouraging her in developmental milestones and I feel my daughter has really benefitted from the increased tummy time , reading and activities. I am also really pleased with the level of communication , I receive pictures and lots of little updates regarding daughters progress. My daughter was also given a little folder which we bring home each week detailing her day , so as a parent I can have a look through and see when she has eaten , slept , when she has been changed etc. Overall I feel that Umu's service is very professional and I love the partnership that she has with me as a parent. I would recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy to care for their child.
