Dear family, my name is Cristina. I am a very responsible and energetic Teacher (with Qualified Teacher Status) currently working as Secondary School Spanish Teacher from Monday to Friday.
I’m looking for ocasional after school Nanny positions (from 4.30pm onwards and 2-3 days a week) and Babysitting any other day during the week.
My Experience
I graduated in Primary Education Teaching degree with Major in TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) in the University of Granada in Spain. I worked as Teacher Assistant in two Primary Schools and did ocasional babysitting for several families.
Before coming to London I worked as Au-pair in Clifden (Ireland) for three months, with two boys aged 7 and 9. In feburary 2016 I came to London and I worked 7 months as Au-pair for an amazing and lovely Italian family taking care of a boy and a girl aged 4 and 6. They were so nice and welcoming with me and we had such a good experience, I can provide very good references. After that I just decided to take a step forward in my professional career looking for another job opportunities.
I love reading, drawing, DIY/crafts and cooking! I'm very active, funny and creative, and I believe in gentle teaching/parenting and introducing children to self sufficiency. I’m not Montessori trained but I’ve studied a lot in my degree and I’ve put it into practice while being Aupair/Nanny. Setting children’s boundaries and creating a structure is crucial for learning skills and to communicate and express needs and feelings.
My Qualifications
I graduated as Primary Education Teacher (Major TEFL "Teaching English as Foreign Language") and I have experience as Teaching Assistant and Au-pair/Nanny. I’m also qualified to Teach in Primary and Secondary Schools in the UK (QTS certificate).
My Availability
Afternoon babysitting Tuesday and Wednesday or Evening babysitting Tuesday and Friday.
