My Experience
I have been a childminder for 11 years. I live in a 3 story house with my setting attached to my house. We have 2 lounges and a big playroom and lots of outdoor educational toys. I have 2 assistants who work with me and they are dbs checked.
We hold a good Ofsted grading (almost an outstanding)
We take age 2,3 and 4 year old government funding and also accept all vouchers from your workplace. We also accept the government tax free childcare
We are also working towards the curiosity approach accreditation. We use natural resources to encourage children’s imagination
My Qualifications
Nvq level 3 in childcare (2 members of staff hold this)
Fist aid paediatric (all staff)
Safeguarding (all staff)
DSL award
Nvq level 2 in customer services
Nvq level 2 in health and social care
Both of us are ECAT trained
Prevent training
Level 2 food hygiene (all staff)
We are a sun safe accredited setting

I work from 0700 till 1830 mon to fri
I take on 0+ to 8 years above
We collect and drop off from church Gresley and penine way school .

My partner had an appointment with Kelly for her Autistic little girl. up on arrival, the owner was extremely rude to my partner and appeared to be annoyed that she had showed up. My partner stated she had an appointment, to which the owner was abrupt and responded with "I haven't got time for this, i am busy so you will have to come back again when I've got time" Me and my partner feel that the service would defiantly not be suitable for the little one and would never communicate or even consider recommending.

First of all I am sorry for the late response to this. I do not have notifications for this site. I apologise if you feel that I upset your partner. This is NOT in my nature. I would never tell somebody to come back when I have time or , I do not have time for this . I always reschedule if there are any problems with appointments, this being emergencies. I am mortified with this review as I am totally confused with this , as I cannot recall a conversation like this ever happening. I could have said I need to reschedule , like I do to all customers coming to view my setting but I would never have said that I don’t have time for this. I am happy to discuss this Further, however I also understand it’s late in responding but as explained this is due to me not having notifications and not seeing this on here.
