ONLINE SESSIONS AVAILABLE CURRENTLY.
I am a fully qualified teacher currently working in a school part time in a year 3/4 class. I'm an experienced teacher and have taught from year 1 to year 6 and have previously been part of the senior leadership team leading literacy.
I have some availability for tutoring during some evenings. Individual tutoring sessions cost £30 per hour. Lessons can be based around whatever is needed from revisiting prior learning to 11+/ exam prep.
My previous job involved working with a home school group at a country park last year where I got to teach involving lots of outdoor learning and a child led curriculum which was a fantastic experience. The group found a new premises slightly further than I could commute but I greatly enjoyed my time there.
I'm available during the day on a Monday and a Tuesday to offer sessions to children that are home schooled. These session can be based on any requirements that children and/or parents have. I'm happy to work with a group of children or individually. Please get in contact to discuss cost for these sessions as this would depend on numbers etc.
I also have a large garden with plenty of fruit and veg as well as chickens and am always more than happy to provide outdoor learning sessions when and if required.
I am also available to offer group 11+/exam prep during half terms and over the summer holidays. These sessions would involve children taking part in group sessions with no more than 6 children per adult. Work would still be tailored to meet the needs of your individual child with the added twist of some team games/additional learning around science or art at the end of the session. These sessions will take place in a local hall and would cost £15 per 1.5 hours.
I live in Meopham and am able to drive for individual sessions.

My Experience
I have many years teaching experience and have taught in both KS1 and KS2 including year 1, year 2 and year 6 meaning that I have knowledge of the phonic screening and SATs. I have also more recently taught a mixed age home school group from age 3-8 years old.
I have taught in both Bexley and Kent boroughs and have experience of teaching in a range of schools from large 3 form entry to small village schools.
I have led English across my last two schools and was also a senior leader.
