Rudgwick pre school has been beyond brilliant! My two children (4 and 3) have been here whilst we're in-between a mega life change, moving from London to Argentina - via Rudgwick. They've both been really unsettled as their dad has moved ahead of us. The staff helped them settle immediately - they were rarely happy going into our nursery in London whereas here, they have both walked in without looking back from day one. We have only had one teary episode. They run out and the youngest shouts 'I am so happy, I love it!'
I think the pre-school has an excellent routine at drop off. It is the same every day & the children to walk in themselves. They set up different activity tables each day so there is painting, train sets, cars, puzzles, tea parties etc etc - sometimes with different themes such as 'The Tiger who Came to Tea'.
There is also lots of outdoor play - one day they came back raving about making a bonfire & drinking hot chocolate. They also get gymnastics equipment out which my children have loved.
Special thanks from our kids to Mrs Bicknell, Mrs Brown, Mr Chris and Mrs Miles. They think you're fab (as do I!)

From the moment we visited Rudgwick Preschool I knew that it was the setting for Isaac. He has settled in brilliantly which is a testament to how amazing all the staff are there. He comes home after each session with tales of what he has done and it is lovely to see pictures of all of his adventures on the Tapestry App that the preschool use. I couldn't be happier with how well they care for him, such a fantastic start to his learning journey, thank you ladies! 😊

What a wonderful preschool Rudgwick is. A real home from home. My son is very happy here, adores his teachers and always has fun! All the ladies are so attentive and nurturing and I feel incredibly reassured leaving my little one in their care! 🙂

My son was a late joiner and the staff and children all welcomed him so wonderfully. He is stimulated, challenged and has so much fun! Loves his friends.
The team at Rudgwick PreSchool should be so proud of themselves and their impact on local families lives :)

Both my daughter and now my son have attended Rudgwick Preschool. The staff there are all so kind, caring and nurturing that I never worry if my children will have a bad day in their care! My son frequently tells people how much he loves his Preschool!
My daughter has also transitioned so well to "big school", down in part to the excellent preparation that the staff help the children with, such as Monday Club, where the older children get to spend more time together doing all sorts of fun activities, readying them for their move to school. Also, a lot of her friends from here are now in her class too!
I couldn't recommend Rudgwick Preschool higher.

Both my children have attended Rudgwick Pre School and have absolutely loved it. My youngest started in September 2020 during a pandemic. We have been blown away with the organisation and work that has gone into creating a happy and safe environment for the children during such a challenging time. It is reassuring to know that my child is having some normality and a great time in the early years of his education. I would recommend Rudgwick Pre School to anyone.

I have had the privilege of all three of my children going through Rudgwick Pre-School. It was a home from home for them. They all had different needs and expectations and in each case this was more than met. Claire and her lovely team consistently go out of their way to make each child feel welcome and special. My youngest was there during Covid and as usual the team rose to the challenge and created a safe, fun and welcoming place for the children. I cannot recommend them highly enough. A great grounding for school.

My daughter loved going to Pre-School here and my son is currently really enjoying it too. The staff are fantastic and very caring and nuturing. I have no complaints and feel very confident leaving my children in their care.
The focus is on playing and the children learn so much and have fun whilst they are doing it. My daughter's transition to school was easy and I'm sure it's because she had already met the majority of her class at Pre-School and the staff make a real effort to take them on walks round "Big school" and take them along to watch the Christmas play and Sports Day etc..

My daughter has started at Rudgwick Pre-school this Autumn term and is thriving there. Often, even when she is having a difficult morning, the second she is through the doors she is as happy as can be. The staff are all exceptionally trained with great emphasis on continued training. The setting has helped already to promote my daughter's speech, confidence and ability to play with and alongside other children. I couldn't recommend this pre-school highly enough.

My children have all attended Rudgwick Pre-School over the past 7 years. The staff are friendly, helpful and experienced. The toys and activities are changed weekly so the children always have something new to explore and learn. Craft, role play, puzzles, singing, stories and outside play can be observed every day. The children are happy, calm, interested and keen.
The Pre-School is very much part of the local community from walking around the village to organised trips out and about. With a good focus on moving up to primary school, the Pre-school is closely linked to Rudgwick Primary, all term times and inset days are the same which as a parent makes it much easier with children attending both settings.
My youngest child has just finished his time at Rudgwick Pre-School and having had lots of visits to the Primary School with Pre-School he is more than ready to join his big sisters in the new term.
