I am Claire Eaglesham and I provide a childminding service called Noisy Little Lions, for children from 6 months to 12 years. I have two children of my own; a daughter and a son. I know what it is like to choose a setting for your little one and I take pride in providing a fun, safe and welcoming environment that your child will look forward to coming to and find hard to leave!
My setting is located in IP1, north west Ipswich and within easy access of the A14/12 and Ipswich town centre. There are two main bus routes with bus stops nearby.
I offer a ‘home from home’ experience in a welcoming family home with a very large garden. We have dedicated indoor and outdoor play and learning areas. We are in easy reach of the countryside, beach, woodlands and forests so there is plenty of scope for adventure and outdoor learning activities.
Our days are tailored towards your child’s individual interests and needs. Weekly activities include toddler groups, Tots Rock at Broomhill library with the award winning Charlotte Evans! Visits to local parks to feed the ducks and play, including our favourites Christchurch Park and Needham Lake. We go for lovely walks in the woods, by the sea at Felixstowe and Nacton Shores. Forest school inspired child led nature activities in our own very large garden or in combination with the Highfield Children’s Centre on the Dales Open Space. Regular visits include: going to play at our all time favourite role play providers - Little City; diddi dance; Jimmy’s Farm; soft play and so much more.
I like to keep up to date and inspired by other Early Years providers in order to maintain a fresh and focused approached to learning and development. I meet up regularly with local childminders to share good practice and take part in professional development.
Fun and relaxing school holiday care is provided for our bigger noisy little lions!
I am fully qualified, insured, clean driver’s license, DBS Check and registered with an Early Years Agency and a member of PACEY. I drive a 7-seater car with plenty of space for us all to pack up and head out on our adventures.
I aim to provide a fully inclusive ‘home from home’ development and learning experience that is supported and guided by the EYFS which fosters imagination and allows children the opportunity to learn through play.
I am a trained EYFS facilitator and have experience with newborns through to teens. I have worked with children from all kinds of backgrounds and abilities and I am able to adapt easily to their needs and requirements.
I have 10 years experience working in education. I have a degree in Performing Arts and I am a qualified English Teacher, teaching literacy and English Language up to GCSE level.
I have also volunteered with the Rainbows and Girl Guides and run my own Performing Arts summer workshops for children age 4+.
This year I am working towards gaining the following qualifications:
An introduction to Montessori
Wanderlust Child Nature Study in the Early Years
CACHE Level 3 Home Based Childcare

Claire is exactly what you want from childcare
She’s a fantastic communicator and is professional without being cold and is flexible.
My little boy (4.5) loves going to hers to “play”
The dynamic she has with the children she looks over is a perfect balance , she is warm and welcoming and very much in charge
My little boy adores her
Her space is homely and clean and has a great amount of resources for the children
She also acknowledges when they just need to relax.
I just can’t recommend her enough
