About Me
My name is Charlotte (Charlie) Toney, I'm 24 and am an NFTS student living in High Wycombe. Before coming to the NFTS, I was an Au Pair in Australia for the past year as well as a Student Support Officer in a private school in Adelaide. I'm bubbly, fun and engaging. I hope to find a family who will support my pursuit in a career in film.
My Experience
I have been a LAMDA examinations tutor for the past 3 years, teaching from ages 6-18. All of my students have achieved Merit to Distinction grades.
I am qualified as a TEFL tutor. My lessons are engaging and for all and any age.
I have been helping my Au Pair families with their homework on a daily basis and have a good knowledge of the curriculum from ages 6 to 16. I am also able to tutor for the 11+ non-verbal and verbal reasoning exams.
Due to my experience as an Au pair, I am able to babysit for children from the ages of 3 upward. I love playing board games, singing, making up pretend play, and arts and crafts!
My Qualifications
I have 9 GCSE's including English, Maths, Science, Drama, History, Electronics and French, an Acting Level 3 B-tec and an English Literature A-level. I have a Bachelors degree in Scriptwriting and Performance S well as a teaching English as a foreign language qualification. I have also done group tutoring for children aged 7-10 in various subjects.
My Availability
I will have finished my course by the end of November and will actively be looking for work in the film industry. However if I were to be a part of someone’s family, then family comes first and I will be sure to pass and decision regarding work by yourself first
