* I HAVE SPACES FOR SCHOOL HOLIDAY CHILDCARE ONLY*
My name is Ellie and I live in Upper Hale, Farnham with my two daughters (born June 2012 and April 2016) and my husband. We love spending time together as a family and make the most of living in area blessed by having on our doorstep – Farnham Park, Alice Holt, Wisley Gardens, Wellington Country Park and numerous National Trust properties.
Whilst expecting my first daughter in 2012, I volunteered with a local cookery school delivering cookery lessons to children in the local area and loved the thrill of being part of the children’s learning and development. I decided to become a childminder following the birth of my youngest daughter, to enable me to be with my daughters during their critical early years and to again have the opportunity to work with children to enable then to fulfil their potential.
Choosing the right place for your child is a difficult decision for any parent to make. My aim is for your child to be happy and safe in my care and have an environment whereby they can flourish. In order to do this I will welcome your child into my home where I have a friendly and safe environment for us to have lots of fun whilst enjoying a variety of activities. I plan our days to ensure there are a wide range of fun activities which are always tailored to each child's stage of learning and their individual needs. Activities include painting, creating collages, printing, water and sand play. As a member of the Forest Childcare Association, I encourage as much outdoor play as possible all year round. We also spend time doing lots of role play, reading, singing, cooking, construction and playing a wide variety of games. Special days out to Marwell Zoo, Wellington Country Park, Wisley Gardens will be arranged with prior permission from you as parents.
In addition to providing a stimulating and safe learning environment, I can prepare fresh healthy and nutritious homemade cooked meals to provide a balanced tasty diet for the children at an additional cost each day.
My experience of working with children is from my own family, friends and running cookery lessons for children from 2011 to 2012. I qualified as a childminder in May 2017. At my recent OFSTED inspection (April 2019), I was graded as good.
Prior to becoming a childminder, my previous roles include working was as a personal assistant in the NHS for 3 years; and in the Higher Educational support sector as a fundraiser for 10 years. They can provide a reference should you require.

My eldest daughter used to go to Ellie’s after school 3 days a week and absolutely loved it! Ellie plans fantastic activities that tie in with school topics which my daughter really enjoyed, and she was very upset when I changed jobs and no longer needed after school childcare!
However we have continued to book both daughters in with Ellie on Inset days and school holidays and they particularly enjoy the trips they go on. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend
Our son has been at Ellie's for morning school drop-off for about 8 months. He's enjoyed it every time. We've also had a couple of emergency closures at school - Ellie has helped us here, and she seems to have activities well-planned for these occasions.
