About Me
I'm a local childminder, with a well established business, and a long waiting list. I have a new vacancy, for a Childminding Apprentice or Assistant. We care for mainly early years children, aged 0-5 years, with a very small number of those children staying on for school holiday care.
My Requirements
I'm looking for a new apprentice or assistant, to join our small, but friendly team, on a part time basis, 1-2 days/week. (More hours provided if necessary for Apprentice as required for their course)
This job might suit someone who:
- Wants to take a Childcare Apprenticeship with a local college.
- Is wanting a couple of years' experience, before setting up on their own. I've helped others through this process, especially negotiating the quagmire of administrative and legal requirements!
- Doesn't like working alone, as a childminder/nanny, or is looking for 1-2 days/week to fit in with another job
- Or is simply looking for a part time job, and enjoys working with children.
Rate of pay will be dependent on age and experience.
