Hi, my name is, Abby I’m 25 and have over 4 years experience working with children and young people in a variety of settings. I am currently studying to be a counsellor and work as a tutor and nail technician in the mean time! Am looking for a few extra hours of work as a nanny. I thoroughly enjoy working and looking after children and ensure that I provide a safe and loving environment. I am DBS checked and have a driving license.
My Experience
I have 5 plus years of experience working with children from primary to secondary age; from a babysitter, nanny and also academic tutoring for both primary and secondary. I have a brother who is 12 years my junior, so I have had a lot of first hand experience looking after a newborn right the way through till now (he’s12). I have 3 years of experience as a 1:1 LSA for children with special needs. which has really enhanced my skills in regards to curriculum and also when dealing with challenging behaviour
I think it is vital for a child to feel comfortable with their nanny and I belive that I am a warm, caring and fun influence.
My Qualifications
GCSE's , A Levels and a Degree in Drama at a 2:1, as well as this I have a young leaders award and also a counterpart assistant qualification in Pharmacueticals.
My Availability
I am free to work to monday through till friday and my hours are pretty flexible!
