I am looking to return to part-time nannying, bringing together years of hands-on childcare experience, professional child welfare knowledge, and my own perspective as a mother into your home.
A key part of my arrangement is that I will be bringing along my friendly, inquisitive 20-month-old toddler. This creates a wonderful dynamic for your little one to enjoy natural daily socialisation, peer interaction, and shared play right at home. Becoming a mother myself has deepened my empathy, patience, and practical understanding of what children need, as well as the deep level of trust required when leaving your child with someone.
Before completing my Master’s in Social Work, I spent years working directly with young children in early years settings and through private babysitting and nannying for children aged 6 months to 7 years. I worked as a Child Carer at Busy Bees Day Nursery in London Docklands and as a Play Leader at Enchanted Castle Nursery in Chingford. From preparing bottles, serving meals, and managing nap routines to leading sing-alongs, reading, and picking age-appropriate activities, I love creating a structured, happy, and engaging day. My background as a Sunday school teacher also shapes my patient, encouraging, and nurturing approach.
Professionally, I hold a Master’s degree in Social Work. Following my student placements with Tower Hamlets and the London Borough of Waltham Forest (LBWF), my first postgraduate role was working as a Placements Social Worker for LBWF, where I identified and matched foster and residential care placements for Looked After Children. I’ve also worked with agencies like CAMHS and drawn heavily on trauma-informed and relationship-based practice. For your family, this means standard safeguarding, emotional wellbeing, and child development are at the absolute core of how I care for children. I know how to set gentle, clear boundaries, keep children safe, and make sure they feel listened to, valued, and happy.

My Experience
My experience with children began in the early years sector, starting in the summer of 2013 as a Play Leader at Enchanted Castle Nursery in Chingford. Building on my studies in Child Development and my role as a Sunday school teacher, I looked after children by leading play activities, reading, singing, feeding, and managing group routines. From April 2016 to April 2017, I worked as a Child Carer at Busy Bees Day Nursery in London Docklands, where I managed full daily care routines—including preparing bottles, serving meals and snacks, handling nappy changes, setting up nap times, leading engaging activities, and delivering detailed end-of-day handovers to parents. Alongside my nursery work, I have several years of private nannying and babysitting experience caring for children ranging from 6 months to 7 years old.
As I progressed into social work, I completed student placements with the London Borough of Waltham Forest (LBWF) and Tower Hamlets across Corporate Parenting and Looked After Children (LAC) teams. Following my Master’s degree, my first postgraduate role was as a Placements Officer for LBWF, where I identified and matched foster and residential care home placements for Looked After Children. Across these roles, I gained extensive experience in direct work, trauma-informed practice, collaborating with specialist agencies like CAMHS, and carrying out statutory tasks such as assessments, care plans, and home visits. Most recently, becoming a mother to my 20-month-old toddler has complemented my professional qualification with deep firsthand insight, patience, and a practical understanding of child development and family life.

My Availability
My toddler is awake between 8:30-9:30 in the mornings and will usually nap around 1-2pm. Would be great if your child’s schedule is similar! If not, we could work around this.

- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
