Primary school teacher - early years specialist, with particularly successful skills teaching phonics and early reading/writing.
Enjoy all things creative, especially textile crafts - patchwork and quilting, dyeing and printing fabric, dressmaking, knitting, crochet, felting, weaving etc.
I may have availability during school holidays to offer fast track or catch up phonics sessions; if that is of interest, please do get in touch.

My Experience
Most recently (the last 2 years) I have been working as a part time nanny alongside some private tutoring.
I am also employed as a Direct Payments PA providing independence support one weekend a month to my 21 year old autistic nephew.
Before that I was a primary school teacher (early years specialist) - formerly as a permanent class teacher, latterly as ad hoc supply, but I've had a winding career path from construction to primary teaching via payroll software implementation! In the more distant past I was also a state registered childminder for 5 years looking after pre-school children (babies and toddlers) alongside my son.
My Qualifications
9 O levels, 3 A levels and Bsc (Hons) Building.
Relevant to childcare:
Diploma in Playgroup Practise (NVQ level 3 - NNEB equivalent)
PGCE Primary Teaching
