About Me

We are a warm, friendly family of four looking for a part-time nanny to start with us in September 2022 to care for two children aged 5 and 7. It would be sole charge care with parents working from home part-time. We would also consider a mornings-only role.

We would love someone who's happy and upbeat and who's willing to get stuck in. We'll be around to support for the first little while but we're very happy for you to be sole charge and take the lead. The children are used to one of us working from home on occasion and aren't disrupted by that.

Key attributes -

- A confident, careful car driver
- Someone warm and quick to laugh and cuddle
- Someone able to support with early reading, encouraging play dates with school friends and chatting to other parents and nannies

Most importantly someone who loves working with children and would love to be a part of our family.

Hours:
Monday - Friday; 6:45-9:00am
Monday - Thursday; 3:00-6:00pm

Full days during the holidays.

Regular babysitting is available but not a pre-requisite.

A note from our nanny Laura :

I've worked with Bethany and Phil for 2.5 years now and have recently handed in my notice as my partner and I bought a home that is too far to commute. Had this not been the case they would have had to prise me out when the children were 25 and leaving home. They are fun, quick-witted, supportive and professional to work for. They'll support and encourage you, they'll work with you, they'll listen to you and work together on any questions or queries you might have. They'll become people you enjoy having around when they do occasionally work from home. (They also make fabulous cups of teas). The children I could write about forever, but in an effort to keep this short they're loving, they're warm and cuddly, they're hilarious and gentle. They'll do exactly as you tell them (yes, really!), they'll say sorry without being asked, check you're ok when you stub your toe. They're a LOT of fun and the days fly by. If they make you almost as happy as they made me, you'll be a very very lucky nanny indeed.
