A childminder who goes above and beyond.

Tricia cared for my son from 15 months old right up until he went to primary school. Tricia is one of the most warm and caring people I have met, she instantly put me at ease the day I met her, and I knew that she was someone I could trust. Tricia remains professional whilst continuing to be warm and caring. It’s evident that Tricia has a genuine passion and interest in child development.

Tricia’s home is warm and welcoming; her family are too just as warm as she is. Tricia’s home is more than well equipped; she has toys that suit all ages. Her outdoor environment is just as engaging as indoors. Tricia regularly rotates toys, and she sets up weekly themes and ties these in with child development needs. Her set ups are amazing and so varied. She also celebrates cultural days such as VE day, Chinese New Year etc my son always enjoyed these days which would include various activities.

Tricia access’s the local community a lot with various days out, visits to local community groups and activities. My son particularly enjoyed attending music group and would look forward to that particular day. It also encouraged him to develop friendships with other children. Tricia works closely with other childminders and the efforts they went to to arrange days out/sports days and other activities were fantastic.

Tricia closely follow’s all guidelines and was very efficient in ensuring that all aspects of my child’s needs were met. My son was ahead of others his age group in all aspects, identifying colours, shapes, learning to count, draw etc all of this was down to the hard work and persistent efforts of Tricia. All of these efforts made during play. Tricia provided daily updates and photographs which were lovely to see.

Tricia supported me through potty training and also as my son grew older was always willing to accommodate changes, I wished to make to his routine, reducing nap times etc. Tricia always made time to discuss things at length with me.

Tricia was always reliable and when needed would be as flexible as possible. My son always enjoyed attending Tricia’s setting and Tricia helped ensure he was ready to move on from her setting to a school environment.

My son was always happy to go to Tricia’s and I feel that speaks volumes. Now my son is at school but still returns to Tricia’s care during school holidays. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Tricia, so much so that my Goddaughter is now cared for by Tricia and her parents are just as happy as I was.

Couldn't wish for a better childminder

My wife and I have known Tricia for over 6 years and she has looked after all three of our children either full time or wrap around care. We simply can't rate Tricia enough. She absolutely adores each child she cares for and the environment she creates for them is outstanding. Tricia plans a variety of activities and meets up regularly with other childminders so the children can all interact together. Tricia goes to playgroups, music groups, parks, forest school and in the holidays numerous outings. You really couldn't wish anything more for your child. Every photo we received our son/ daughter was smiling and having the best time. She also prepares your child for pre-school / reception when the time comes by concentrating on phonics and counting so you can feel confident your child is well prepared.
Overall we count our blessings we came across Tricia on this site and my wife went to visit. She didn't need to see anyone else. She just knew instantly Tricia was right and it was the best decision we ever made. My kids still talk fondly about Tricia all the time so I think that speaks volumes!

Overall outstanding!

My husband and I think Tricia does a fantastic job and only wish we had found her sooner!
My daughter is currently cared for by Tricia full time and my son goes to her after before and after school and during school holidays.
She is extremely organised, planning a multitude of activities for them. They go out to parks, playgrounds, music group, forest school as well as meeting with other local childminders and their children.
She is dependable, caring and excellent at what she does.
My children love going to her and can't recommend her enough.
