I am a career driven nanny with strong professional skills, maternity nurse qualified, holding a dbs on update service and a paediatric first aid.
As a nanny I am calm and patient, with a loving touch ; with A level studies in English, Mathematics, Physics and Psychology, I educate the children through play, planning fun and adventurous activities designed for each child according to age and interests but also considering each family's personal values and priorities.
I am a multi tasker by nature and take any challenge with a smile on my face. I am capable to coordinate multiple schedules, liaise with many trades, interact either formally or informally with people of all educational backgrounds and I can be an amazing team member just as much as I am able to take control in organising and leading a team if needed.
My Experience
My professional experience consists of 13 years of sole charge nannying in lovely private homes and it includes working with several sets of twins, doing nanny share, working in rota positions and maternity nursing
I like to believe that I have a great sense of humour and I am passionate about most sports and games; you name it, I'll play it!

I am a mother of two children: a son about two weeks old and a daughter about three and a half years old. I had a planned caesarean for my second child and as Dad had to stay home to look after our daughter, I required a maternity nurse to support me at night during my hospital stay, in particular the first night when I knew I would be bed-bound and not mobile at all.
Raluca was available for the period of my expected hospital stay and subsequent to her visiting our home to show us her qualifications and reference, had agreed to support me from 7:30pm to 7:30am at the hospital.
Raluca was a great support for me during my hospital stay. She changed all the nappies and brought the baby to me whenever required. She actively sought out the hospital staff to make sure both the baby and I have what we need. She was instrumental in helping me breastfeed the baby – I was a “failed” breast-feeder with my daughter and having Raluca there for the second time round made breastfeeding a lot less stressful and less challenging. She was also very professional and non-judgemental – we discussed very briefly if I would choose to use a dummy with our son and whether we would consider swaddling him. She simply accepted my views and at no time did I feel I was “judged” on whether my decision was a “good” decision or not. She provided insightful guidance on baby’s reactions – something I have forgotten from my first born. She responded well to my daughter when she came to visit me - Raluca clearly enjoyed being with children and this showed as my daughter was very comfortable with her.
Overall, I would recommend Raluca as she is very friendly, professional and knowledgeable.
