About Me
Hi my name is Lizzie and I am looking for childcare work. I am due to finish my first year of primary school teaching at the end of August 2025. I am then going to take a year away from teaching and in September 2026, hopefully start a masters degree. Therefore, I may only be able to support you for a year. I am looking for before school, after school and if preferred weekend work from the new academic year.
It's important to know I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia at the beginning of this year and have a back condition. I am only looking for part time work and short hours such as before or after school. I am also only looking for school aged children due to these conditions.
However, I love cooking and baking, being creative, and supporting children in active play. I love learning new skills and pushing myself towards challenging opportunities. I would be a great fit for someone who would want support after school, especially for homework or some to keep occupied before you finish work.
My Experience
I have spent the last year with a lovely Year 4 class and have previously completed placements in Year 1, 3 and 5. I have a range of experience with different ages and backgrounds of children. I have always loved working with children and have previously worked in day nurseries. I am also hopefully going to continue my career into child mental health work.
My Qualifications
11 C-A GCSE's (2015)
Trinity Grade 7 Performance Exam – Flute (2015)
Paediatric First Aid Training (2018)
CACHE Level 3 Certificate and Diploma in Childcare and Education (2018)
1st Bachelor or Education (Primary) degree.
My Availability
Before and after school. Weekend if wanted.
Part time only and no long shifts.
