My Summary
About Me
Hello, I’m Amy aged 30. I am a very proud Auntie to 10 wonderful nieces and nephews. I come from a big family background with 4 older brothers. I have been brought up around lots of different ages of children from a young age and have experienced all the milestones and development stages.
I am very much a sole charge nanny that loves to be left to my own devices to crack on and organise everything. I am very fun, trustworthy, kind, loving, patient and down to earth Nanny. I love cuddles, story times, crafting together, laughing together, baking together and overall just being the bested caregiver I can be!
I have a muck in attitude. I don’t like being stuck indoors and I love to be out and about on adventures, age appropriate classes, country parks and seeing friends/family on a daily basis. I believe it’s important for a little one to be out and about to give them the best life experiences and social skills.
Over the years I have experienced all the fun days out you can think of including, musical classes, sensory classes, role play classes, beach trips, zoos, country parks, swimming, trampolining, food shop, cafes, soft play, playdates and generally fun adventures.
I am a very organised person and I find that I work best by producing a weekly plan with a variety of nourishing foods from breakfast, lunch to dinner, i make a shopping list each week of foods I need for the following week. I cook healthy meals at the beginning of each week for little ones lunches/dinners and i love to bake with little one, this is always something fun like cakes, biscuits etc!
When I have free time with little one I enjoy setting up educational activities inside and outside the home. These range from messy play, sensory play, water play, role play, mathematics, literacy etc! I’m not afraid of mess and i think it’s important for little ones to get messy and explore! As well as being your nanny you will also have someone that has a very good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage so I will always be aware of them milestones and planning activities for them to be met.
I really enjoy making the family feel special at celebrations e.g birthdays, Christmas, I will go the extra mile to sort cards and presents out for them. I also involve little one by getting her to design cards, come shopping and pick the presents, write the tags & wrap up. I think it’s really special having homemade thoughtful gifts for the family from your little one. I also promote a lot of arts and crafts throughout the year with all the celebrations we have e.g new year, valentines, St Patrick’s day, Easter and so on! We talk about them by making crafts and doing activities related to them.
My Experience
I have always had a huge passion in childcare from a young age, so now being a Nanny is my perfect job. I love the freedom, flexibility and most importantly the one to one you have with that child.
I have worked in childcare for over 12 years now, 4 years in nursery settings and 8 years as a Nanny.
I worked at 3 different nursery settings where I gained experience in all age ranges. I also did my Level 2 & Level 3 Diplomas In Childcare alongside working. I have a great knowledge of the EYFS stages which helps when reaching milestones and development.
Whilst working at a setting I helped out as the nursery chef from time to time. I have had experience from birth - 10years.
I take pride on my role as a Nanny and act on a professional level but also fun chilled level too. I come from a very loving caring background which reflects my work.

It’s quite difficult to capture how amazing Amy is in a review, but I’ll do my best.
Amy has been caring for our daughter for four and a half years, taking her from the age of 6 months until she starts school, and has been an integral part of our family during that time.
Amy possesses all the qualities that make an excellent nanny. She is extremely reliable and an excellent communicator, great at timekeeping and absolutely world-class at organisation. She is positive and proactive, always looking for opportunities to do something new or better and always keeping her knowledge up to date and applying it. She is always calm under pressure, and a happy and sunny personality to have around the house.
She is patient and kind, with a natural talent for caring for children. We have always been impressed with Amy's thoughtfulness, she always goes above and beyond with her presents and activities. Her craft skills are truly extraordinary and she combines these with developmental play ideas to create an incredibly fun and educational combination. She puts on a huge variety of activities and an excellent variety of food.
Our daughter has flourished under her care and is advanced in pretty much every regard for her age; a good deal of this is due to Amy. She was also very helpful and supportive with all aspects of weaning and toilet training. Amy also takes feedback in a constructive way and applies it, and she is committed to a growth mindset.
She really goes above and beyond, e.g. always happy to help with suggesting presents for our daughter’s friends, getting things for parties and helping out. She has organised a regular outing with our daughter’s grandmother each week. She takes everything in her stride, whether it’s enormous dogs or the chaos of building work, and ensures everything runs smoothly.
Our daughter has a very special relationship with Amy, and we have no doubt that this is due to Amy's deeply caring and loving nature. She instils these qualities in her charges too, modelling good values, manners and behaviour.
In summary, Amy Rogers is an outstanding nanny. She is caring, reliable, thoughtful, and has a natural talent for working with children. She combines her talent with real passion and dedication. We are extremely grateful for the superb care she has provided to our daughter over the past four years, and we cannot recommend her highly enough. Any family would be extremely lucky to have her.

Amy babysits regularly my 3-year-old son, I trust her with the care of my son and this is something I can't do with many people. She loves being around kids and she is really passionate about introducing fun activities such as arts and crafts to keep them entertained and engaged. My son loves being around Amy, and particularly, enjoys singing nursery rhymes together. Amy always keeps me updated about the activities that they are doing and she collaborates with the routine that we usually have. I can't recommend her enough! she is a fantastic nanny and a lovely person that really cares about kids.

We cannot recommend Amy highly enough. She fitted straight into our family, and made an enormous positive impact in a short space of time. Any family would be lucky to have Amy caring for their children.
Role with Us: Included both sole and shared care for our 2 boys aged 2.5 years and 6 months.
Character: Warm, professional yet fun, creative, organised and reliable. Good time keeping skills and clear experience with infant and child development and care. Positive and proactive in helping, hardworking and trustworthy. Both kind and able to set clear appropriate boundaries (in line with ours) when needed, calm under pressure, confidant driver. Strong empathy and judgement on the potentially challenging mix of shared and sole care.
Activities: Broad range of activities in sole and shared care- creative/craft developmental play ideas (Amy really excels at this), outside visits including trips to the zoo, baby sensory/music classes, entertaining garden games, nursery drop-off in our car, tidying the house after the children’s mess, specific food preparation and help when commencing baby led weaning with our youngest (remaining calm and confident during any gagging etc). Amy was also a huge positive support when commencing toilet-training for our toddler.
