Experienced nanny looking for either:
Wednesday and Thursday's 8am - 2/2.30pm or a new position to start September 2024 onwards Tuesday -Thursdays 8am-6pm
Calm, reliable and organised I have 20 years experience working with children aged 1 month - 12 years.
I am Ofsted registered with a full DBS, paediatric first aid and a foundation degree in Early Years Care. Excellent references available.
I have two grown up children aged 23 and 25 years.
I have been working for a lovely family for the past 4.5 years and 2 other lovely families for 1.5 years. The 5 children's ages range from 9 months to 8 years.
Sadly it has become difficult to juggle the various part time hours of my three families and as 3 of them are now school age I would like to move back to looking after preschool aged children and hopefully find one family who is looking for a nanny or carry on with some of my current work and find a family who requires a nanny on a Wednesday and Thursday morning
I am happy to care for children independently or alongside parents and carers. I love exploring the outdoors and providing exciting craft and play ideas for children, joining groups such as music, tumble tots and drop in play sessions.
I am very respectful of parental wishes on how their children should be cared for but happy to offer advice/support if required.

My Experience
I have worked in childcare for 20 years. I ran my own childminding business, then went on to work at 3 local nurseries. During this time I studied for my level 3 in childcare and then went to Brighton University and completed a Foundation Degree in early Years Care. Having completed my Foundation degree I then returned to childminding and now love working as a nanny
For the last 5 years I have been employed as a nanny. Firstly as cover for maternity leave for one year, caring for 3 children aged 3 - 12 years of age.
I am currently working with a family who have a now 5 year old and 8 year old, the youngest was 9 months old when I first started to do settling in prior to taking full care 3 months later. I also work for a family who have a 3year old and an 15 month old baby and another family caring for a 4 year old
This has provided me with an abundance of experience working with children of all ages.
I have a foundation degree in Early years Care along with many other childcare qualifications, including: playwork, Special Educational Needs, supporting quiet children, level 2 Food Hygiene, safeguarding children and several others.

My Availability
Ideally I am looking for 3 days per week Tuesday - Thursday, however I would be happy to work ad hoc Mondays and Fridays. Or some part time days please message me and we can chat about days and hours.
