About Me
I have around twenty years of experience with children from new born right through to teens, and indeed am still in touch with many of the children I have looked after previously, who are now young, adults and studying at university!
I love to be outdoors and active with the children in my care, but appreciate the need for calm creative time, be it arts, baking or child led free play.
I also walk dogs, my own and others and so if there are any household pets as well as children I would be in my element!
I have a keen interest in dressmaking and upcycling of all kinds and enjoy to plan and engage children in creative and arty projects.
My commitments are flexible and I'm open to either full or part time positions.

My Experience
I began working in childcare via a temp agency who suggested I work as a nursery assistant, which I did and enjoyed. A Mothers Help role became available and I was put forward as a candidate. I was lucky enough to gain employment in this role and am still very much in touch with this family.
Thereafter I was offered roles mainly through word of mouth, gaining varied experience of different age ranges and needs including some additional support needs and attachment issues.
After gaining my HNC in Equine Studies I began working, combining nannying and horse care. Further employment over the years I have gained through registered childcare agencies.
