I’m a caring, trustworthy and fun Nanny. I always ensure that throughout my nanny career the children throughout I teach children through activities that are engaging – in hope we can have fun with learning. As well as a positive role model to children, I allow them to have a friend in me allowing them to trust me and have an enjoyable experience in my care. I like the reading, travelling and learning about new cultures/history. I love arts and crafts and always try and integrate creativity in daily life. I would like to learn a new language (I’d love to speak all languages if I could!) I only know basic German but I do actively try and learn more German using an app! I enjoy bike rides, long walks (the occasional run) outdoor activities including water sports (mainly kayaking).
7 years experience working with children in various formal and informal settings: at home/private households, educational, excursions and more. I hold a Level 3 NVQ in Childcare that specialises in ‘Specialist Support for Teaching and Learning in Schools’ therefore I have extensive knowledge in developmental stages. As well as this I am: first aid trained, TEFL/TESOL trained and I have specialist experience in SEN (Special Educational Needs).
I have worked as private Nanny/Housekeeper/Tutor professionally for the last 2 years full time overseas (Australia and Switzerland) and prior to this I have worked on adhoc basis alongside other full time employment. I thoroughly enjoy working with children; supporting their development and watching them grow up and achieve is very rewarding. I am committed to providing a safe, nurturing, positive and happy environment for the children in my care; allowing them to thrive.
