I am a single parent, and trying to organise childcare for the first time.

I own my own home, a large 3 bed semi detached house in Hersham in Surrey. I am currently exploring the possibility of recruiting someone, or a couple to run a child minding service from my home.

The house has 2 large doubles, 1 for me and 1 for the childminder, and then the small single - for the new addition! I would like that if I were to provide that property and the furnishings etc... that the potential new childminder would effectively 'hire the space' to include the rent of the property, and keep any income from other clients. As long as the Ofsted rules are adhered to you would be responsible to looking after the children, but this would also include mine.

So in exchange for looking after my child:
- Rental accommodation - fully furnished - large kitchen, living room, bathroom, playroom and garden
- Evening and weekends free (maybe the odd night of baby sitting can be pre-arranged)
- Annual leave entitlement
- Be your own boss - dictate your hours to additional clients
- Set up a nice and welcoming environment in an area that childcare is required.

The other option is that I am in the process of registering wit Osted myself, to be a registered childminder (previously worked as a Nanny), so if you do not want the option of running the facility, but would be looking for affordable accommodation as well as work in a childminding setting, and occasional babysitting, then please get in touch. It would be great to have a chat about the options and maybe come and visit.
