About Me

I'm reliable, dedicated, enthusiastic and committed. I'm a supportive and attentive individual who enjoys working to provide a safe and caring environment. I'm patient, I have a warm, consistent and hands-on approach and I am able to adhere to usual children routine.
I enjoy preparing and assisting a range of activities under my own initiative such as literacy and numeracy games, craft sessions, supporting in instrument practice exercises, giving learning support and planning/teaching Language lessons one to one and for small groups.

My Experience

I have experience and excellent communication skills with a wide age range of children (1-17 years) in the past 12 years.
My experience in Childcare and Educational support includes working as a nanny; nursery assistant; as a Civil Servant/Youth care assistant in a Youth centre; as an Italian/English tutor in Summer Camps in Italy, Children birthday's party planner and Face painter in a play centre; Playworker volunteer for children with special needs in a family centre and clown doctor volunteer at local hospitals. For me, the children's security and health are my priorities and I enjoy getting involved with the family life, making a positive contribution.

My Qualifications

I'm trained in Counselling skills, EYFS, Paediatric First Aid, Food Bygiene and Child Protection. I hold an Enhanced CRB check disclosure and a Certificate in IHCC course (Introducing home-based childcare) which gave me the opportunity to update my skills and knowledge in the Early Years Foundation Stage.

I have a Diploma in Modern Languages and Literature which includes English, French and Spanish.
