About Me
My name is Dafne Martinez.I have been working with children of all ages for the past 7+years in Spain and the UK. I am originally from Madrid and moved to London 7 years ago which has been an amazing experience so far. Since I was young, I was always looking after the younger children at family parties and have chosen a career in childcare which I love.
Throughout my time as a nanny, I have built strong bonds with all the children I have looked after through fun outings and activities such as Zoo visits, arts and crafts, swimming and museums. I pride myself on being an organised nanny and someone the children can have fun with, learn from and trust.
I enjoy spending time outdoors walking, taking photos, horse riding and travelling to different places around the UK and Europe. Besides my enjoyment of working with children, I have a strong passion for cooking and a large interest in cooking nutritious healthy meals and snacks.
With my history in childcare and non childcare work experience, I have developed strong communication skills, good work and time management and most of all, patience.
I am currently working in the afternoons and a full day on Fridays and I would like to find al find something extra in the morning and/or on the weekends.
My Experience
I worked with a few families as a live in and live out and some more babysitting with a few families from 1 month to 14yo. I also have my DBS updated and first aid course.
