About Me
I am a friendly and energetic individual with 8 years worth of experience in the childcare industry. I have done babysitting before for the families of the kids at the nursery I work at who have asked me to. I strongly believe in a child centred approach to care therefore am ready to try my hardest to ensure that I help children become happy, healthy and able to reach their full potential. I am positive, cheerful and am excited to offer child-appropriate activities that involve art, music and dance in addition to helping with their homework. Furthermore, I am patient and always ready to support children’s growth and learning. Their achievements are also my achievements and I get just as excited as them when they do something new that they couldn’t before! If I see a child has a genuine interest in learning something new about a subject that interest them, I am happy to encourage them to satiate their curiosity. I am a very punctual individual who is also driven to inspire and teach children to be respectful, patient and positive, they can achieve anything with the right attitude! In addition, some of my strengths include conflict resolution and creating a safe and stimulating environment for young children. After all, children will only feel confident enough to fly if they know they have a safe place to land!

I have worked in a nursery for 4 years mainly with the age ranges 2-5 and have been a nanny for 4 years two children who were 8 months and 4 years when I started.
My Qualifications

• Level 2 Award in Employment Responsibilities and Rights in Health, Social Care or Children’s and Young People’s Settings (QCF)
• Level 3 Diploma in Children’s Learning and Development (Early Years Educator) (QCF)
• Paediatric Anaphylaxis Trained (October 2016)
• Paediatric First Aid Trained (October 2016)
• Food Safety Level 2 (September 2016)
• Safeguarding Children Level 2 (January 2019)
My Availability
I am currently looking for some daytime hours as my current charges are both in school most days. I also look after another boy for a family I met through nannying. So I have more time available to take on another family. Currently I can do two days between Tuesday and Thursday. Which two days can be discussed with potential clients.
