Hello! I am highly personable, adaptable and resourceful in new situations and looking for ad hoc babysitting alongside working as a freelance designer. I have previously worked as a nanny for families in Bristol and London and am now based in South London. My interests include art and design, running, swimming, yoga and reading, and I would love to incorporate some of these into my childcare through encouraging children to have fun being creative, getting outdoors and discovering the joy of reading.
My Experience
In my previous roles, I was in sole charge of two boys (aged three and six) and then another boy (aged eight); my duties included collecting them from school, helping with homework, cooking family meals, putting them to bed and light housekeeping. In addition, I helped potty train the younger child in my first role and prepared the older child for his 7+ exam. I also have experience babysitting a girl from the age of 3 - 5 and tutoring an 18-year old girl with Autism. I enjoy cooking and cleaning, with experience managing and cleaning a family-run hostel in New Zealand, and am happy to support family life in any way that I can.

We had the great pleasure of Suzannah working with my daughter for a lot of 2023
My daughter has special needs and is delayed, and it is a complicated educational programme we are following. There are also some behavioural issues
Suzannah is one of the most intelligent and educated tutors we have ever had - she is extremely smart and very fast understood what we were aiming to do with the tutoring, almost immediately adding new suggestions that were great ideas
My daughter loved the time that Suzannah was here and learned things throughout the days. This included a full cross section of the National Curriculum and also trips out of the house, to social clubs, picnics etc
Suzannah was also fully skilled at ensuring my daughter had food and drink and her needs met
As well as this, her background is creative and graphic design which is immensely useful working with children, who love creativity
Suzannah is a superb tutor and childcare provider, and a fantastic person
100% recommend her to anyone you will be lucky to have her
