About Me
I have a level 3 qualification in children's play, learning and development. I am a creative person and love to do simple and educational activities that will help the children learn and also have fun! I am a qualified swimming teacher which I would love to share this hobby, allowing my children to develop the confidence and skills that they need in the water. I am a passionate practitioner who loves children and will have them from any age and will take up to three children at one time.
I am currently a full time university student completing my paediatric nursing degree. I am in my final year of training.
My Experience
I have done volunteer work in a range of primary school, preschools and nursery over a period of 5 years. I have been a Nursery Nurse working full time in a nursery for 2 years before lockdown. My position was in the baby room aged 0-2 years where I was responsible for all the children who attend each day. I have great experience with working with the Early Years Foundation Stage where I can track accurate stages for each child's development. I have had recent training on health and safety and completed my first aid course which is valid for another 2 years. I have experience with teaching swimming lessons and helping children to gain confidence when being in the water.
I have two families that I babysit for on a regular basis either in the day or evenings.
