About Me
Hello, my name is Maisie and I have been working with children for seven years and currently have a level 3 childcare qualification. I live in Aveley, Essex with my dad Robert, mum Karen and sister Libby who all have full police checks (DBS). We also have a family pet dog, Cooper. My mum Karen is also my assistant. We live in a 4-bed house, with an open kitchen which goes through to the lounge. We also have a large garden which can accommodate children of all ages to allow simultaneous study, play and relaxing areas.
I provide a warm, welcoming and loving home-based setting in which your child will thrive and develop through play and having fun. It is my priority that you are confident your child is safe and happy whilst in my care.
I will provide varied activities for your child, we shall attend local child-minding/toddler groups and play centres for extra social interaction, trips to local events, visits to our local community. I have various toys and books for all ages, activities such as music, dance and regular trips to the park and messy play such as painting and junk modelling.
Communication with you is extremely important and I will keep you informed verbally and via text, email and daily reports for early years (0 to 5 years). I will ask you to keep me informed of any changes within your child and your circumstances as this may have an effect on your child and can then allow me to adapt accordingly to their needs.
As an early years childcare provider, I work towards the early year's foundation stage - which promotes child development consisting of learning through play, real life experiences and routine.
