About Me

I am a dedicated and enthusiastic individual with a very strong work ethic, which I aim to bring to my tutoring. I consider myself a charismatic and friendly person, with excellent interpersonal skills.

I have much experience in childcare and babysitting, especially ages 4-13, helping with after school activities such as homework and clubs, as well as bedtime routines and cooking dinner. I've always been able to build up a great rapport with children, and have fun with them, whilst maintaining an appropriate level of discipline.

My academic record displays my commitment to hard work, with straight A* across all my subjects at GCSE, AS and A Level. My recent experience with examinations means I know and understand the exam technique required to gain the top grades. I have just finished my third year at the University of Cambridge, studying History. I completed my undergraduate degree with a Double First, and am now undertaking a Masters, also at Cambridge. I am available for entrance examinations/interviews advice and preparation.

I have helped in my junior school as a teaching assistant, as well as regularly aiding younger years with their studies, at summer camps and volunteered by teaching English to children in Costa Rica and so have a wide range of experience in various subjects across all ages. I specialise in the Humanities and Languages, but am also able to tutor in other areas as my profile displays. In sessions I would come prepared with lesson plans, any resources I have available and an eagerness to meet all requirements, especially taking into account the specific and personal needs of each student.
