About Me
I am 26 years old, I am from and live in North London, I currently work part time as a Play worker at a after school / holiday club. Previously I worked as a full time nanny for two wonderful children and as a nursery assistant. I am a History Graduate who achieved a 2:1 at the university of Sussex, who is pursuing a career in childcare and teaching in the future.
My Experience
I love working at the after school / holiday club, I get to work with a children ranging from 5 to 11 years old. In a team, we provide fun, engaging and educating activities both inside and outside. Previously worked as a full time nanny, looking after two children who were 7 and 2 years old when I started. I worked with the family for just over a year and a half. It was a very rewarding job, I loved every minute of it. Previously, I nannied for The Falkingham Family from Feb 2017 till July 2020 ad hoc. I also worked as a nursery assistant at Angel’s at Play Nursery from August 2019 till July 2020. In addition I have babysat children from 2 to 13 years of age, since 2016. As well as childcare I have also worked at The Old Fountain as a bartender and as a receptionist at The Busworks. Both gave me a number of transferable skills including, punctuality, interpersonal and organisational skills that I apply to all my childcare roles.
My Qualifications
I have not undertaken any qualifications but I’m a passionate and skilled nanny / play worker. Which I have become through invaluable experience working in childcare. I am DBS checked, and have up to date Safe Guarding, Prevention and Paediatric First Aid certificates.
My Availability
I am currently working at the holiday club, 2 days per week. Each week the days I work are different but I have a the full rota so it will be easy to coordinate. I am looking for 2 - 3 days nannying work per week over the summer holidays. (As my hours, days differ from September.)
