I am a bubbly and outgoing 23 year old who has been working in childcare since leaving school at 16 years old to attend college. I hold a Level 2 and Level 3 which qualifies me in Childcare. I engage well with children of all ages, having experience mostly with 18 months to 11 year olds.
I have a full clean driving licence; which has business insurance. I hold Nanny and Babysiting insurance and and an up to date DBS.
I am currently only doing Babysitting, although this can be long term. For long term parents, I am currently waiting on my application to be completed for a Registered Nanny. Applying to register as a Nanny and will class you then as having such, therefore prices will differ once my registration comes through. (To be discussed when Babysitting services has started, and needed long term)
I have worked in a few private nurseries as well as Reception and Schools in Year 1-6 classes in the Whitehaven and Workington area.
For the last year, I have worked with a child in Year 3, now Year 4 who has autism as a 1:1. He has intervention lessons to work alongside his IEP to meet his needs.
Before this, for 2 years, I have worked with a child in Reception who had autism as a 1:1. I went through processes to help with his communication as he was non-verbal and there was a language barrier. After this his development came on very quickly, including toileting.
Perseverance, continued research and implementing different strategies were the key factors in his development, which I have taken into account with all children I have worked with.
I have a Level 3 Diploma in The Children and Young People’s Workforce (Apprentice Option) and a Level 2 First Diploma in Children’s Play, Learning & Development.
GCSE Maths and English at Grade C.
I also completed a Supporting Autism in Your Setting course alongside my Special Educational Needs (SEN) experience.
I do hold more qualifications and have completed more training courses which more details can be provided if needed.
Currently, I work in a school in Whitehaven in the mornings in Year 4 as a 1:1 with a child with autism Monday-Friday.
Current availability is based around my current work schedule therefore, do not hesitate to message me to discuss ad hoc or permanent care as I will accommodate if possible.
Not available on Thursdays after 6pm (Dependent on area) or all day on Sundays. I have other commitments, therefore this is non-negotiable.
I am happy to do some overnights depending on what the family needs.

Zoe is excellent with children. My children absolutely love her and I felt at ease whenever my children were with her.
She listens to whatever the children need, i patient, engages them appropriately and she was an invaluable member of our family for the time she was with us.
We will definitely continue to keep in touch.
Any family will be lucky to have her
