About Me

I am an outgoing enthusiastic individual with a passion and zeal when looking after children. I enjoy watching and participating in the self-development of children aiming to teach and support children, to hopefully give them a good head start in their lives, preparing a safe environment for play, learning and interaction with other children; preparing activities in relation to individual ages and ability; taking care of personal needs and following through with each parent individual instructions in regard to the care of their child or children. I strive to treat each child as an individual to enrich their future, considering individual abilities, skills and talents as well as weaknesses.

I have the aim that this effort and passion we have will be a catalyst enabling them to have successful and fulfilling lives, academically, emotionally and physically to produce confident, well grounded, strong minded adults with goals and ambition. With my creative, open minded, bubbly character and energy, I am open to suggestions and more than happy to learn new skills and put in whatever work is needed to ensure I am fit to look after children.

' The welfare of children is paramount' As stated by the Children's Act and I intend to implement this as my code of practice if given the chance to work for yourselves.
I aim to follow the 'UNCRC' Article 3 (best interest of child),Article 23 (Children and disability) Article 29 (goals of education) I also aim to them maintain a healthy diet and encouraging them to make these choices for themselves, to assist with personal hygiene and other lifelong skills, to encourage them to be confident and aspire to be a valued member of society no matter their culture ability or religion giving them freedom of expression and treating each child as an individual, without being prejudicial or stereotyping but celebrating this diversity.

I really would like to be a part of a partnership with yourself most other organisations and care givers of your children to help support the their developmental outcomes, providing a trustworthy, reliable innovative service.

My motto is trust, love, patience and safety!

I aim to make child come with a smile and leave with a smile thus the name ‘Diverse Smiles’ no matter their ethnic background or abilities or gender as ‘Every child is unique!’

My Experience

I believe I have the forth coming values, etiquettes and ability to fulfil the duties required to carte for your child. I am eager to implement my knowledge of the EYFS and would like to experience working with your children within my care setting helping to nurture them using my creative abilities i.e. my love for arts and crafts which I often do with my own children. I am a mother of three an eleven-year-old, eight year, and five years old. I am also a friend who loves to baby sit just for fun, so I know what standards I expect for my children and the children of others. I understand what standards I must uphold within this care setting at all times regarding to child protection and that I must insure all the early years foundation stages are met (personal social and emotional, physical, communication and language). I aim for my service to be stimulating for all their little senses as children are little scientist and therefore through my practice as an assistant I aim to provide creative, imaginative and holistic experiences children whereby are given the freedom to explore, investigate, taking risk safely using your range of play resources, climbing frames, different textured materials, reading materials including audios, fiction and nonfiction books, poetry and rhyme, interactive toys, role-play material, sand and water play etc.

I have experience working with children with speech delay early chatters matters ‘i can cards’. I've worked alongside management in previous settings to complete ISPs. I worked with children with suspected autism. I’ve supported a child with an eating disorder and monitored food intake with a daily diary. supported and worked alongside parents suggesting foods the child could eat.
