About Me
I have recently finished my PGCE )Primary Education) and I'm looking forward to starting my first teaching post in September. Prior to completing my PGCE I completed a BA(Hons) Early Childhood Studies degree.
I can build excellent relationships with children quickly as I am friendly, calm, and approachable. I am also confident and have good communication skills. I am hard-working and determined for all children to flourish in their development and learning.
In my time away from my university studies, I enjoy spending time outdoors, reading, and sewing. I was also part of my University swimming club.

My Experience
Most of my educational experiences lie within the 1 -7 year age group. I have carried out placements in a primary schools, and Family/Children's centre. I have also worked in a holiday club/pre school. I'm able to plan and deliver creative activities which match children's interests. I have gained experience in working with children who have additional needs so understand the need for a consistent approach. I also have knowledge about allergies and intolerances too.
I also have previous nannying/babysitting and event nannying experience.
I'm able to tutor children from Reception - Year 4 in English, phonics and Maths. I am able to tailor my lesson to the child's needs. I will try to ensure my teaching matches what they're currently learning in school. Homework would be set weekly.

CACHE Level 3 Early Years Care and Education (Early Years Educator).
