My Experience

Since moving to Oxfordshire over 14 months ago I have been working part-time at a nursery in Banbury and since February 2025 working as a Nanny part-time, looking after 2 girls aged 2 years and 9 month’s old.

Prior to this I lived in London were over a time primarily worked in international law firms, managing receptions etc, however after a period of time came to find this less rewarding and moved in to education in schools and nursery’s (including Montessori) throughout London and Kent.

Prior to COVID I was in a fixed-term contract working at Capel Manor Horticultural College, assisting students of 16-19 years with special educational learning needs with their Higher Education studies, covering departments from horticulture & landscaping, animal care & management, also providing assistance during exams, which are class based.

Prior to that I have worked primarily 1:1 with children 3 years-10 years, with mild to severe autism or other SENs pupils with varying levels of learning disabilities, the last child was a 5 year old girl with Down's Syndrome, and I did a course of Makaton to assist her with communication, and her speech development skills and confidence building.

I love the challenge of working with children of all ages, its such a pleasure to nurture and watch them grow, I have a very hands on approach, providing assistance on reading, writing, arithmetic, communication and confidence building. Although I do not have a recognised qualification in childcare, I feel raising my own family brings along all the necessary requirements with being selfless, committed, with great time management, nursing and forming them to be a human being with integrity and sharing and supporting their up and downs.

My other focus is centered on nutrition, fitness, I like being outdoors either gardening or walking, I’m not one who likes to sit down for too long, I thrive on being busy.

My Qualifications

Makaton certificate and Paediatric First Aid Certificate.

My Availability

Immediately. I am available Monday, Thursday and Friday with flexibility for evenings/weekends.

My Fees

• Nannying from £25.00 per hour (net)
