I work in the IT field as a Cyber Security Consultant and my husband is a Banker in the city. We just recently had our first baby and are enjoying every moment of our new parenthood.
We're a down-to-earth family. Mostly homebodies but we do enjoy travelling. My husband is a Bollywood movie buff and I have a passion for learning languages - Arabic and Urdu at the moment.
We're pretty simple and straightforward people, and enjoy spending time with close family and friends.
My Requirements
I'll be going back to work around July. I work mostly from home with ad hoc days in the office or with a client in or around London.
I think the best arrangement for us would be to have someone babysit my daughter at the house whilst I'm working from home in the office room. Initially we're looking for half a day (mornings), 3 times a week. This may increase going forward depending on my workload and how things pan out. There may be the odd day where I'll need help in the afternoon as well so some flexibility would be good.
If the child care provider in question has a child, too, I'm also happy for them to bring them along to the house so the kids can play.
