About Me
Starting a full time position in August 2023, therefore I unfortunately do not have any availability.
I hold a MA Education Studies degree and I am currently furthering my studies by attaining a BA Child and Youth Studies (Hons) degree. I am also a fully qualified Early Years Practitioner. Working alongside children to support their learning and development is something which I am very passionate about and I hope to continue to gain experience throughout my degree. I bring enthusiasm and positivity with me whilst babysitting to create a fun, safe and caring environment.

My Experience
Whilst completing my HNC in Childhood Practice I carried out a 9 month school placement working with Primary 1’s. I have also carried out a placement working with Primary 2/3/4/6 classes within my university course. I further have experience with babysitting, including supporting children with their academic work such as homework. PVG Certified.

This was our first experience with a babysitter and Abbie did a fantastic job. She is a very polite and energetic person and the kids felt happy with her. Their feedback was very good, she knows how to engage them, especially the 3 years old who was our biggest concern as he is very attached to his mom, but he enjoyed playing with Abbie.

Abbie tutored my daughter for several weeks and helped her a great deal. Abbie was friendly and great with my daughter, would recommend.

Abbie looked after my 3,5 year old boy for an evening when we were out. Her communication was great throughout, she arrived at the hotel on time, and even stayed late when our evening run over! She is very professional and trustworthy, and most importantly my little boy had a blast. Today we played a game where I had to pretend to be Abbie :) THANK YOU!

Abbie has looked after our 3 children before and after school. She has a fantastic personality, sense Of humor and getting very well With children. Children were always on time to school , and when I get back home I always found them doing fun creative activity ( craft colouring puzzle ) . Children loved her and I reccommend Abbie in 100%

Abbie has cared for our 4 1/2 year old son in our home several times now and he fell in love with her instantly. She brings energy & enthusiasm with her and a creative approach to childcare balancing leaning and fun. I would highly recommend Abbie. She is friendly, courteous, reliable and approachable.
