I am a 22-year old second year medical student at Bristol University (but currently on placement in Gloucester during the week) looking for evening/weekend babysitting jobs in both Gloucester and Bristol. I am very conscientious, responsible, kind, caring and love being with children and animals. I have a great deal of babysitting experience (ages 1-14 years) and I also have a 1 year old little sister myself so have experience with younger babies and newborns too. For the last two years I have nannied for a family, looking after their 7 year old daughter and 5 year old son. This involved entertaining them with a wide range of activities, cooking meals, homeschooling and taking them on day trips. I am DBS checked and, due to being a medical student, I have had lots of exposure to healthcare and first aid training.
My Experience
I have a great deal of babysitting experience (ages 1-14 years) and have also nannied for a family in London during the holidays (two children aged 8 and 10). For two years now I have nannied for a family in Marlborough, looking after their 7 year old daughter and 5 year old son while their mother was working from home. This involved keeping them entertained with a wide range of activities and day trips. In school, I was a mentor for younger pupils, helping with homework, pastoral support, and general wellbeing. Furthermore, as part of my work experience for medical school, I have had a lot of exposure to healthcare and first aid environments. I also have a qualification for coaching basic sports for young children.
My Qualifications
10 GCSEs (6 at grade ‘9’, 3 at grade ‘8’ and 1 'A')
3 A levels in Maths, Biology and Chemistry (A*,A*,A)
Full Clean Driving Licence
Qualified in basic sports coaching skills for young children (Sports Leaders Programme)
Grade 5 flute and grade 4 piano
