About Me
I am qualified Primary and Early Years teacher with over 25 years of experience. I have specialist qualifications in English and English as an additional language. As an Early Years expert I also understand how to approach learning in a mutisensory way - even for older learners this is appropriate.
As a tutor I will take the time to create a fun, effective and engaging bespoke study plan for each learner. One size does not fill all. I will also focus from the start on building a trusting relationship with everyone involved. When learners feel seen, safe and relaxed they achieve their best results. This mindful attitude underpins my approach.
My Experience
I have worked in education since 1993, first as a language teacher, then a primary teacher and finally an Early Years specialist.
I have taught in schools and nurseries in both the private and public sector in Brighton and in Asia. In my final position I trained teachers at Sussex University.
