About Me
I have been working as an OFSTED registered Childminder since 2004. I am married and have 2 adult children. My daughter has now moved away from home. My son currently lives at home.
My Experience
I started childminding in 2004. I provide before and after school childcare for children attending Churchfields Infant and Junior Schools in term time only. The families I have minded for have stayed with me for many years. I believe this is due to them being very happy with the service and childcare I provide for their children.
My Qualifications
When I left school I continued my education taking qualifications in Hotel Management. (OND and HCIMA professional qualification part B)
Since starting childminding I have attended many training courses run by the local authority relevant to childcare.(Including various Safeguarding Children Training Courses and Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering)
I update my First Aid training as required every 3 years.
My Availability
Before school childcare from 7:45am with breakfast if required, and walk to Churchfields Infants and Junior schools to drop off.
Collection from Churchfields Infants and Junior schools and provide after school childcare until 6pm, with dinner.

Joy looked after my two girls after school until we moved away from the area. She provided a fun, stimulating and warm environment and great meals. My children looked forward to coming to her and we all still miss her now!

Joy looked after all 3 of my children from when she started her childminding service. Joy is so kind and caring my children loved going their and I never worried about their care and wellbeing. Her house is warm and welcoming and above all safe. I highly recommend Joy.

Joy was my boys’ childminder for about 10 years. They were really happy with her; she provided an excellent service. Joy always kept them occupied with a wide range of activities. She’s a very reliable childminder; I can’t remember ever her being unavailable to work. I highly recommend her as a childminder!
