About Me
Hi I'm Katy and I am a third year Biblical Studies student at the University of St Andrews, who lives in Milton Keynes non term time. I am looking into a teaching career after university, and have lots of experience working with children of ages 4 and up. I play guitar and ukulele and love all music, so would be willing to teach, in addition to help tutoring up to GCSE level of any subject.
My Experience
I have volunteered at youth clubs for many years, working with children 7 to 12, and I also work at Spy Missions, a children's party place, supporting up to 10 children at a time and running a party session involving completing puzzles and physical activity. I also have experience volunteering in both primary and secondary school classes in nearly all subjects.
My Qualifications
I have an advanced DBS certificate, but if this needs to be updated for your needs, I am willing to do so.
I have 12 GCSEs all above A, 4 AS levels and 3 A levels in Biology, Chemistry and Religious Studies.
I also have Trinity Grade 6 Classical Guitar (A level equivalent)
My Availability
I am available from 5pm on most days.
