About Me
Hiya! My name is Katie and I am 23 years old. I was originally born in South Africa, but moved to the UK in 2019. Since I was a young girl I have always has a passion for helping people and the route of teaching always seemed to be the direction I was going in. I moved to England to study Primary Education, ages 5-11, with the purpose of learning all the different ways in which children develop, learn and understand the world we live in. I have just finished studying in university and am currently teaching a year 1 class. My style of teaching is exciting, explorative and engaging. People who are in my life would describe me as kind, helpful, determined and optimistic. I believe these are vital skills to have, as they can get you far in a happy and fulfilled life. I enjoy being in nature, exercising at the gym, art, music, and spending time with loved ones.
I am currently looking for extra hours outside of work doing tutoring or baby sitting.
