About Me
I’m a bubbly and energetic person with lots of experience with children. I recently graduated with a degree in Primary Education and have worked in multiple schools. Whilst studying and also working as a supply teacher, I have nannied and babysat for 3 families via this service over the last 3 years. However, after relocating to Manchester, securing a teaching job for the new academic year means that I can only offer a limited amount of services.
My Experience
I’m a teacher and work with children in block placements. I trained in 4 schools over my 3 years of study. Soon after graduating, I worked at a school as cover through a supply company.
I’ve worked previously as a babysitter and a night nanny for just under a year for one family. I have also babysat on a regular basis for 2 families. Additionally, I have been a nanny during the summer holidays for a different family.
I worked as a tutor for a few summers with successful outcomes for all of my students. I still tutor currently- mainly SATs and GCSE English Lit&Lang.
I was a camp counsellor/summer school teacher every summer from 2016-2019.
I worked as a nursery practitioner with Bright Horizons before starting university.
I’m the eldest of 9 and have experience with all ages: from newborns, to toddlers, to children to teenagers. I come from a family of great cooks so cooking and food preparation is second nature.
My Qualifications
I have a fully enhanced DBS check.
I have 10 GCSES A*-B.
ABC at A Levels.
My Availability
I am now a full time teacher and so, I can only tutor in the evenings and weekends. For babysitting and childminding services, these are only available during school holidays. Please get in touch with me if you have any questions!
