About Me
I have experience in working in schools. I also completed my teacher training. For the last three years I’ve worked with special needs children, covering a range of needs from ADHD to cerebral palsy. I’ve worked with children from preschool to sixth form.
My Experience
I’ve done my PGCE training year teaching English. I’ve taught from age 11 to 16 mainly but I have had to teach year 6 for SATS preparation as part of the course. I have also had to teach reception as part of the course as well.
I have also taught preschool through to primary school. I currently work in an SMEH school for children of preschool age to sixth form.

PGCE secondary English
I have an English degree that covers texts in the GCSE curriculum. I have recently completed my PGCE training year, in English specifically. I have experience in the classroom teaching 30+ students and experience of 1 to 1 tutoring. I have supported students with many different learning needs. I also created my own scheme of work for a set of vulnerable students during the last lockdown. I have experience of creating lessons with specific learning needs in mind. I have taught both high ability and very low ability students.
My Availability
I am available Tuesday through to Friday any time. I am also available on weekends and Monday evenings but this will need to be organised as I have a young child to work around.
