About Me
Hello! I am Isis; a fun, caring and enthusiastic nanny.
As of Sept 2023 (on my birthday!) I become a mother to my wonderful daughter - Abria.
Any job roles will include bringing her with me. She is a very chilled out baby- but she is still exclusively breastfed so please keep that in mind that I may need to spend 5-10 mins nursing her here and there. She absolutely loves to watch older children play, she loves the outdoors (just like her mum!) and she will nap on me in a carrier or in the pram during working hours.
About me!
I am very patient and gentle with children, and I have a calm caring approach to being with them as I am naturally very mothering, however I of course still implement discussed discipline and rules! I am familiar with Montessori teachings, and I strive to encourage independence and individualaity in children. I love the outdoors, and I really encourage children to explore and learn through play. I take them to places such as the SS Great Britain, the aquarium, and the local museums. I enjoy regular walks around the harbourside, Ashton Court, and local parks. I also take them to play groups, soft play or Axis trampolining on bad weather days, and for socialising. Now I have little Abria I enjoy play cafes for her to explore and anywhere with a sandpit is a huge hit!
I like to incorporate a lot of crafts, such as painting. drawing, map making and of course... clay!!
I love being a nanny because teaching children through play is my passion and working with families, seeing their children go from crawling babies to walking, talking toddlers is an amazing privilege.
I am a Christian, a non smoker & drinker and I spend most of my free time out in the countryside walking with our dog.
I passed my driving test in May 2023 and I have my own car with a clean driving license. I have a spare HBB and an infant carrier (up to 8kg). I currently have a single buggy and plenty of carriers!
My Experience
I was a birth partner for my mother when my sister was born in 2018, and of course now being a mother myself I have plenty of newborn experience.
I have worked as a nanny since 2020 caring for children aged 9 months all the way up to 10 years! but I mostly like to take on roles with pre-school age as that is the age most of my training is focused on.
Before that I worked at PotStop Potters where I taught children how to make pots on a potters wheel! for a short time I ran children's pinch pot lessons from my previous pottery studio.
I worked for one year (22-23) at an Ofsted rated Outstanding childminding setting as a part time assistant, where I got to implement my knowledge of the EYFS framework.
I have an Ofsted approved Common core training certificate.
My Qualifications
I was previously an agency registered nanny, where I received nanny training.
DBS checked.
Pediatric first aid Certified.
Ofsted approved Common core certificate.
Safe Guard Certificate & policy.
Food Hygiene Certificate.
Baby Care 101 Certificate. (CPD)
Attachment in the early years CPD course.
Full nanny public liability insurance.
My Availability
As said previously my daughter will be with me during work.
I am currently looking for part time and/or ad-hoc work.
My maximum working hours is 4 hours per day, between the hours of 9AM and 4PM. However this is subject to change and I will definitely consider longer days in future.
Saturday work is considered, but I do not work Sundays.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £9.00 per hour
- Nannying from £12.00 per hour (gross)
I charge a fixed rate of £12 per hour.
If I am required to drive with the children I charge 50p per mile OR £5 for use of public transport + the child's fare if applicable.
