About Me
We are a family of 4, we have a 5yr old son and a 3yr old daughter. We also have two pet cats.
My husband is in the aviation industry meaning time away and I’ve recently undergone a career change and now starting Midwifery at university.
My son is a gentle soul, quite sensitive and warms to people quickly forming lovely relationships. My daughter is three and quite independent, as I’m often told girls are. She is toilet trained so no changing nappies required. She’s a princess mad chatterbox!
We do lots of outdoor playing, days out, seaside visits etc but will also visit the cinema or sit down and (attempt) to watch a family film. We’ve started taking them to the theatre recently which they love.
My Requirements
My partner works away and I’m at university. My course varies between theory blocks at university and placement at hospital.
When my partner is away with work and I’m on placement, my shifts are 12.5hrs meaning we need help with
morning school drop offs, afternoon school pick ups, evening care, school
Holidays etc.
Somebody who can drive is essential due to school drop off/picks ups.
We would suit somebody who wants some adhoc nanny/baby sitter work, But doesn’t want the commitment of a full time family or set days, which hopefully is the right balance for somebody. Due to the nature of our jobs we need someone dependable and reliable, who isn’t afraid of the responsibility of our children whilst we’re out of the home.
We hope for somebody who our children can connect with and form a special bond with, and becomes an extension of our family. We would like someone who will take the time to get to know our children and enjoy looking after them.
We would prefer someone first aid trained and DBS checked. I’d also love to be referred to any references you may have from previous families you’ve worked with, though appreciate we may be the first :) . Our children’s school provide wrap around care 7:45 - 17:30 which we can book on an adhoc basis if you needed some flexibility around other commitments you have.
