My name is Ana Standen, I live in Trowbridge with my husband and my son both are DBS checked.
I have a positive outlook on life, I am very social and generally of happy disposition. I believe in working with parents in caring for their children and seek to be flexible regarding child care arrangements.
Also I do some occasional weekends from 7:pm to 12:00 am.
It has been an ambition of mine to become a Childminder, being able to teach something new where I can apply the skills I have and enjoy a good work life balance.
I have a good sized 4 bedroom house with an enclosed back garden which is laid with artificial grass and has a summer house for all year use.
My Experience
I am a registered Early Years Childminder with 2 years of experience with children under 1 year old.
I has raised three children of my own and now have a wider family with two step-children.
I understand children need a safe, secure and warm environment to develop their skills, my home is child friendly, safe and welcoming; there is plenty space and furniture appropriate for children.
I have a range of resources, both educational and play, suitable for activities indoors or outdoors.
As an Early Years Childminder I am able to help young children achieve their early years learning goals through structured learning and play; even a small trip to the shops can be made in to a learning adventure.
In the past I have been a head chef and catering manager for 3 Hospitals; so I am very familiar with food hygiene regulations.

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.50 per hour
- Babysitting from £13.00 per hour
My fees are charged by the hour to the nearest half hour, I offer full-time and part-time care.
I am Early Years qualified and take children from 3 months old.
Funded hours are available.

Ana has been an amazing childminder for my son since he was 5 months old. She’s helped him develop so well and each day he learns new things with Ana. He’s now 15 months and had his final day with her last week as I completed college. Ana took him to playgroup once or twice week to play with other children and he enjoyed it. She also updated me with photos showing me what he learnt that day! We’ll miss you for sure ana!

Ana has been looking after my three children three afternoons a week for the past month. She is a very warm and practical person. Lovely with young children, a very good cook and a safe driver. We’re so happy to have found her!
