About Me
Hi, my name is Veta, I live in Great Oldbury and close to Stonehouse. I have lived in the UK for 16 years and have my settled status.
I have been working as a nunny in the UK for quite a few years and have experience from being a teacher back in my motherland too. My piano teaching qualifications are from Siberian college of music in Krasnoyarsk city. Being a qualified music teacher I had also been trained as a choir conductor. I love classical music, playing the piano and singing.
I have a car, clear driving license. DBS enhanced check and PA course.
My Experience
I have been working as a nunny and Piano tutor with bilingual and English speaking kids and I absolutely love it.
It's a slightly different routine, depending on a family. As part of routine I give Piano lessons to kids that are musical and thriving from it.
I am looking for a family, that is in need of a nunny few times a week.
I am adaptable to parents guidance and wishes and Piano class is not necessary if your child have different interests. I am good at helping with homework, organising indoors and outdoors activities. I can lead or give kids an opportunity to be in charge too. Crafts, knitting and sewing, playing chess, reading books and helping with learning languages or 11+ exams preparation and the list goes on.
At lessons, I tailor it so the pace, information and practice would suit an individual's ability to absorb and concentrate. With younger children I use various games and visual methods as well as Montessori intuitive method to sustain their interest and curiosity.
I also run my piano class from home. It always brings a great fun and sense of achievement to both, a student and teacher. Whether it's playing four hands or making concerts for parents, it's very rewarding as my pupils absolutely love being the piano stars!
I also prepare for ABRSM exams.
