About Me
I am a 20 year old student who has experience, babysitting, childminding and occupying children throughout the day. I also worked in a high school with children from the ages of 11-16 who had additional and complex needs. I am currently studying Musical Theatre and love performing. I love to give children new experiences and expose them to a world they are quite often closed off from. Although I’m a student, I really don’t enjoy going on nights out or drinking so I am looking for something to occupy me in the evenings when everyone around me is partying
My Experience
When babysitting I have experienced bed times, comforting children when they’ve woken in the night and occupying them in the daytime with crafts and outside activities. Whilst working in a high school, the children I supported often couldn’t cope with being inside of the classroom so I had to think on my feet of ways I could engage them outside of the classroom whilst educating them so they were never left behind. I worked at a Christian summer camp in America in 2023 and was in charge of a cabin of 20 12-16 year old girls. My job was to look after them for the week, make sure they went to bed on time and were showered, fed and felt safe.
My Qualifications
I have 8 GCSE’s grades 5=8 and 3 A levels
I also have grade 8 in singing and 7 on the tenor horn
