About Me
I specialise in looking after children aged 0-5. I have plenty of space in a fun packed playroom set up with varied pretend play, construction and small world to encourage imagination and adventure, the playroom has a private en-suite bathroom, easy to access and a safe enclosed outdoor area set up with play equipment and a tuff tray for messy play, art and sensory play. Children enjoy a varied and rich weekly timetable with eg. cooking, music time, creative art and design, with plenty of free playtime. We have weekly meet ups with the local toddler group and daily visits to the nature reserve that is just a quick walk across the road.
My Experience
I am a mother of three now grown up children, my husband and eldest daughter live at home with me. For the past 14 years I have worked as a full time staff member in an SEN school. My roles were running one to one emotional management sessions, dyslexia screening and intervention work as well as a teaching assistant in classes, including early years.

Helen now has my son full time, and transitioned to her not long after my first review.
My son is excited about going to Helen's every morning and he truly delights wotj being in her care. I have no concerns whatsoever, so can fully concentrate when at work, knowing my son is safe and content.
Helen is always engaging him in learning, play and social opportunities, and its lovely to see what he gets up to on his journal - he's really coming on so much!!
I will be eternally greatful for Helen taking such good care of my precious boy and cannot recommend her enough!

Helen has been looking after our son whilst our current childminder has been poorly. With minimal prep time, Helen was able to quickly establish a routine for Jay and make him feel safe and cared for - he slept and ate well from day 1, which is extremely unusual for him!
We recieved pictures and videos of him enjoying his day and he looked to be having an absolute blast! He was more than happy to go to her the next day and came home in high spirits once more.
I can say without hesitation that we will be contacting Helen again in the future and trust her completely with our most treasured little love.
