About Me
Hello! My name is Erin, I am 23 years old and have recently graduated from University with a degree in Psychology. I currently work for a mental health charity doing three 12.5 hour shifts per week on varying days. I would love to help out a family with childcare on the days I am off and required. I get my rota well in advance so could plan around my work days and what the families needs.
My Experience
I have completed various placements within Primary schools and children's day-care facilities. I worked for a family with two girls aged 6 and 10 during the first lockdown. I home schooled the girls and looked after them when their parents were still able to work. This was a great experience and I enjoyed helping out. In September 2021 I went to Spain as an au Pair. Here I helped with the childcare of two young girls aged 2 and 5. This was an amazing experience and I learned so much about childcare. I have an excellent amount of relevant experience that will help me in this role. I worked in a nursery school and with children with special educational needs. This job taught me many skills and I found it very enjoyable and rewarding.
My Qualifications
I don't have any educational qualifications in childcare but I have a vast amount of experience in childcare settings. I completed A-levels in school and then went on to study a level 3 higher Diploma in Health and Social Care. From this I obtained the qualifications I required to start University. I completed my Psychology Degree and was awarded with a 2:1 classification.
My Availability
My days off from work, these very each week but I get my rota well in advance so days/ times I’m needed could be planned.
